Green Party Sacramento Supports SCTA Strike

The Green Party of Sacramento County stands firmly behind (Sacramento City Teachers Association) SCTA and SEIU Local 1021 in their labor dispute and authorized strike vote against the Sacramento City Unified School District. The District has created unreasonable working conditions and has been unwilling to grant cost of living salary adjustments to its employees. Furthermore, the District does not have an adequate plan on how to address staffing shortages and safely concerns due to Covid-19.
