Green Party of Sacramento County votes to endorse Better Ballot Sacramento

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) has been a cornerstone of the Green Party’s platform since the 1990s and continues to be a key piece of the party platform (https://www.gp.org/democracy#ranked_choice_voting). RCV has proven to be a more democratic and fair way to run elections and is the best chance for the voters to be truly represented in our government.

Better Ballot Sacramento is a volunteer-led organization working to change the way the City of Sacramento votes - through Ranked Choice Voting! We fully support their efforts and encourage anyone registered to vote within the City of Sacramento to sign their petition to get RCV on the ballot in November.
